Ann Grim grew up between Buenos Aires, Paris, Cape Town, Montevideo and London before choosing to live and work in Paris. A multidisciplinary artist, she gives particular importance to her techniques, ma- terials and medias, from the physical to the digital. Whether through rhythmic experiences or more perceptible points of contact,she prolongs the life of the object, moving it towards an awe-inspiring in nity that reveals the importance of artistic discourse in the post-industrial era. A child of hyper-globalisation, Ann Grim places herself within the realm of social sciences, working amongst scientists, philosophers, historians and economists to showcase the intuitive power of her art by deciphering the complexity of human nature. Her provocative universe, caught somewhere between instinctive aetheticism and theoretic rationalisation, plays on a host of symbolic metaphors.
