David Bracha chef/owner of downtown Miami’s wildly successful River Seafood & Oyster Bar has been a Design District resident for 15 years and now walks to work at his new neighborhood restaurant, Oak Tavern.
Named for the majestic transplanted giant oak tree which graces its outdoor patio, the 5,500 square foot venue boasts a big welcoming bar and indoor/outdoor seating for 140. The relaxed décor features comfortable banquettes and tables made of reclaimed wood and a large communal wood-hewn table where new friendships are born nightly.
The comprehensive modern American menu extends the spirit of hospitality, inviting sharing with a selection of small plates, snacks, pizzas, house-cured charcuterie and large plates as well as daily specials, all crafted from fresh, quality ingredients. In addition to delicious comfort food, the glorious oysters that make the Bracha’s River Oyster Bar such a standout are available at Oak Tavern, as well as a slew of other raw bar/seafood specialties.
Oak Tavern is open for lunch during the week and dinner daily.
