It’s every foodie’s favorite time of the year — Miami Spice! Now in its 14th year, Miami Spice runs from August 1 through September 30 across nearly 200 local restaurants across South Florida including 53 new participants. The eateries will offer three-course meals priced at $23 for lunch and $39 for dinner, with some of the best deals being found in the Design District.

Earlier this summer, the highly-acclaimed event Wine Bar Wars came to the Design District’s Moore Building. It’s the first time the event has ever taken place outside of New York City — and the Design District’s own team reigned victorious.

Summer is notoriously Miami’s “slow season,” and restaurants will sometimes have abbreviated hours. But that’s not the case for the Genuine Hospitality Team, which recently opened its summertime pop-up ella, a quaint cafe inside the Design District’s Palm Court.
