Deep breath. We've been told many are beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed by the plethora of events stacking up in their calendars. One simple game plan? Check out the Buena Vista building in the Design District. The Buena Vista is playing host to several exhibitions and below we've listed some of our favorites:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and thank goodness that after a long Thursday night (fyi: Thursday is usually one of the most event-packed days of Miami Art Week) Friday you can have Breakfast Tacos At Tiffanni's. This is just one of the events being hosted as part of the Mestizo City exhibition. Mestizo City, created by renowned architect Henry R Muñoz III, is an "interactive 6,700 square-foot public site-specific installation, created to represent the vibrant and varied Latino culture and its growing influence in the United States."

While you may have already heard of the UR1 Festival and their stellar line-up of musical acts Kanye, Lou Reed, The Offspring, Santigold, and on and on and on. You might not know the UR1 fest is also bringing world-class visual artists to Downtown MIami, 34 to be exact.

Maybe it started with that whole Eden, Adam, Eve thing but let's face it, there's something seductivey about a garden. Now, add a burlesque show with dazzling acrobatics, dancing, a pumped up soundtrack a la Moulin Rouge... and you've got Miami's most thrilling pop-up show, Orchid.

Theaster Gates is a Chicago-based artist, urban planner, and cultural provocateur whose critically acclaimed transformative work in Chicago was recently covered by the Wall Street Journal. They praised him for finding "a way to leverage an artistic practice to make a realtime, bottom-line difference in the lives and spaces next door. Gates says he's trying to invent 'the Main Street I want to hang out on,' but he is also pushing art beyond the sphere of social commentary into the arena of nitty-gritty do-gooding." And now Mr. Gates is coming to Miami.
