Premiering this August at Palm Court is the Reel Creative Cinema film festival, a thoughtful selection of feature-length and short films chosen by locals who have been vital to the growth of the Miami Design District. There are few better ways to build community than to collaborate with neighbors and stage a meeting of the minds around art, design, fashion and food.
Maison & Objet Americas’ 2016 designer of the year, Rafael de Cárdenas and his firm Architecture at Large are teaming up with the Miami Design District and local popsicle company PopLab to present NEON JUNGLE, an immersive tropical lounge open from Tuesday, May 10th through Sunday, May 15th.
The cultural scene in South Florida is continuing to evolve and Miami is proving to be the hub for international art and design events that travel to America. This May, MAISON&OBJET AMERICAS, the design and lifestyle show that travels the world to bring together designers, architects, property developers, and other cultural influencers, returns to our city and the Miami District is the spot to experience one-of-a-kind installations, exhibitions and soirees. We’ve highlighted a few of the exhibits happening in the neighborhood. The full program guide is available here.
