The boutique, which opened last November, creates an immersive experience for shoppers. With mood lighting, fresh florals and curated architectural design, the store bills itself as more than just a retail location: its homelike interiors and luxury items create a rich atmosphere designed to engage the senses and capture emotions of pleasure and intimacy.
The first lingerie store in the District also carries swim, apparel and pleasure products. Elle’s selections combine quality and innovation from around the world – from the Milan-based Oséree swimwear to London’s Coco de Mer, as well as brands such as Kiki de Montparnasse, Carine Gilson and Fleur du Mal. Recently, the store welcomed six scents from House of Bo, a collection of gender-neutral fragrances, to their Miami location for purchase.
Intimacy and timeless style come together in one-piece bathing suits like the black Rita and Venus designs, while modern artistry assembles in the silk metallic foil, violet floral embroidery and fluttering tulle construction of the Violet Balconette bra, thong and garter trio. In Elle’s lifestyle object category, books like Emily Nagoski’s “Come As You Are” and Zoë Ligon and Elizabeth Renstrom’s “Carnal Knowledge: Sex Education You Didn't Get in School” use research and science to engage the mind and senses in sexual well-being.
Elle’s Miami location focuses on the same tenants perfected at their original location in Austin, Texas: design, hospitality, world-class luxury brands and private appointments. For shoppers looking for a romantic evening with a partner or a relaxing afternoon with friends, private appointments allow guests to reserve the store to explore and shop in total privacy for an hour. Guests have access to curated sizing selection and fitting, a sales associate and complimentary rosé.
Adjacent to the Fly Eye’s Dome in the heart of the District, Elle’s Miami location is open from Sunday to Monday from 12PM to 6PM and Tuesday through Friday from 12PM to 7PM at 140 Northeast 39th Street, Suite 124.
