Remember in the 1950's how young folks went around wearing 3D glasses as a fashion statement? Between every other new film in the last few years and, now, commonly seen in the spheres of visual art, you might as well follow suit.

For this month's upcoming Second Saturday, Adamar Fine Arts presents 3D On and Off the Wall, a group show featuring artists Brad Howe, Niso Maman and Jeff Pullen. Howe and Maman's sculptural works recall natural figures with industrial materials such as painted metal and brass keys. Pullen's paintings are lively glimpses of bustling avenues in Nee York and Miami. Somehow, each work (whether it hangs on stands freely in front of a wall) reminds you of that other-worldly experience of images and objects directly in your field of being.

Adamar Fine Arts is a 25 year-old gallery located in the heart of the Miami Design District, inside the 4141 Building. Contemporary painting, sculpture, works on paper and installation are represented media from nationally and internationally recognized artists. Works from Warhol, Dine, Katz, Haring, Rauschenberg, Frankenthaler and others are held alongside both established and emerging talent.

The opening reception for 3D On and Off The Wall opens during Second Saturday Gallery Walk on Saturday, October 12th from 6pm to 9pm at Adamar Fine Arts: 4141 NE 2nd Avenue, Suite 107 in the Miami Design District. For more information, call (305) 576-1355 or email adamargallery@aol.com.
