It’s almost here. Yes, we’re talking about Art Basel. Come December 5th to the 8th, over 250 of the world's leading galleries participate in the high-brow art fair, drawing over 50,000 visitors each year to the Magic City. And yes, while you’re here in sunny South Florida to soak up the sights of spectacular modern and contemporary artworks, duly note that the Design District has some serious shopping haunts hidden up its sleeve. From one-of-a-kind jewelry at Turchin Love and Light to Jonathan Adler’s cheeky pottery, here are a few shopping spots to keep in mind between the copious amounts of sun, beaches, hipster spotting and mojitos while in town.
