This October get ready to get your savasana on as YogArt — the community event that blends yoga with art and live music — brings back its popular series to the Miami Design District for a second season.
Kicking off on Wednesday, October 5 at 6 p.m., YogArt co-founder and licensed movement therapist, Dawn B. Feinberg, will lead the flow along with guest instructor Christy McKenzie.
"We are so excited about the launch of YogArt season two Design District," says Feinberg. "We are kicking it off with the Latin, Afro, funk band Suenalo, and I'll be teaching with local yoga star Christy Mckenzie. It's going to be an awesome night that celebrates Miami and all its incredible cultural diversity."
Prepare to take a breather, move and then mingle while enjoying lite bites, beverages and libations from Chȃteau D’Esclans and ella around the Fly’s Eye Dome™ in Palm Court.
The series will continue on November 16, 2016 and again on January 18 and May 10, 2017 with Mayapuris, Magic City Hippies and more.
Tickets for YogArt series are $35 per session and are available online as well as on-site the day of the event. Make sure to mark your calendar and reserve your spot early as mats are limited.
And not only will you get a good-for-you workout at YogArt, but you’ll be doing good for our community as a portion of the proceeds from the YogArt ticket sales go to support the neighborhood's Miami-Dade Magnet high school, DASH.
