Now that fashion month has officially wrapped up, we’ve been pouring over runway photos of our favorite designers’ shows to get an idea of what our fall 2017 closets will look like. (Hint: lots of red and lots of glam!) We know, we know… spring is barely in full swing, but you can’t blame us for planning ahead, right? Below are five stand out trends.

(Givenchy / Prada / Max Mara / Fendi)

Crimson
Monochromatic red had a major runway moment on the fall 2017 runways. So major, in fact, that the Givenchy design team put out a collection of 27 archive designs from recently departed designer Riccardo Tisci’s 12-year tenure at the house… all in red. Over at Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld outfitted all of his girls in showstopping red over-the-knee boots. Crimson has been proclaimed the shade of fall 2017, so get ready to channel the dancing girl emoji.

All That Sparkles
Glittery sweaters, lurex knits, sequined minis… the fall 2017 runways majorly sparkled. The rock ‘n roll ready Saint Laurent runway served up some of the best glam we’ve seen in awhile, and Alice + Olivia knocked it out of the park with some pretty cool shimmery suits. Also, two words for you: GLITTER. BOOTS.

(Miu Miu  / Pucci / Versace / Fendi)

Colored Furs
Forget that tasteful wrap your grandmother bequeathed you — fall’s rainbow furs are in no way subtle. From printed plaid at Miu Miu to a fur trench at Fendi, these over-the-top pelts in every color of the rainbow ruled the runways and are major statement makers.

(Fendi  / Alice + Olivia / Lanvin / Saint Laurent)

Masculine vs. Feminine
Masculine tailoring with feminie touches took centerstage as a major fall trend. Whether you’re edging out your lace top with a pretty pinstripe like Alice + Olivia or balancing out your tuxedo jacket with a tutu like Saint Laurent, the contrast transforms your tailored basics into fashion-forward territory. We’ll be recreating Bella Hadid’s sexy Fendi shirtdress and thigh high boots look, stat!

(Saint Laurent / Loewe / Saint Laurent / Tory Burch)

Statement Sleeves
Statement sleeves took off this year and will continue into fall, something we’re super psyched about. While bell sleeves have been all the rage up until now, fall will bring back even more sleeve styles like the bishop sleeve at Tory Burch and juliet sleeves at Saint Laurent.
