As the largest sporting event in the world kicks off — the 2018 World Cup — Louis Vuitton is celebrating by bringing its exclusive FIFA inspired designs to the Miami Design District. Plus, the neighborhood is the only place in North America with its own stand-alone store.

Located in Paradise Plaza (151 NE 41st Street), the pop-up store will be open to the public daily from Thursday, June 14 to Sunday, July 15, and will feature soccer-inspired interiors, interactive elements, activations, games and two brand-new releases.

The first release is the new versions of the classic Keepall and Apollo bags, which will be featured along with a selection of small leather goods inspired by the legendary Official Match Ball of the 1970 FIFA World Cup available in three color combinations.

A more exclusive version, a “Made-To-Order” Keepall, is also available with a rich palette of eight pentagon colors. Each of them can be associated with one of the five colors of trimmings to create a Keepall in the colors of almost any national flag. Completing this sophisticated offer, an Epi leather luggage tag could be embossed with one of 35 national flags, including the nations taking part in the competition.

The other new release is the FIFA World Cup Official Match Ball Collection Trunk. The trunk, which is set to become an instant collector’s item, houses a stunning collection of 14 footballs: 13 renditions of the Official Match Balls used at FIFA World Cup tournaments since 1970, all fabricated especially for this project by Adidas, and one Louis Vuitton designed football. The trunk will find itself center stage in the store, backed with a luggage tag animation adding another themed yet exciting feature to the pop-up.

The pop-up store will tie into Louis Vuitton’s 2018 relationship with FIFA, with the interior of the store taking on soccer ball graphics and hexagonal metallic details. As you enter the store and step upon turf flooring featuring traditional white lines of a soccer field with small Louis Vuitton floral details, adding a delicate touch to the tempestuous nature of the sport. The interior features three large screens.  While two of the screens loop a Louis Vuitton and FIFA video, the third screen adds an interactive element to the store by featuring a PS4 video gaming system along with benches. The store’s façade is also adorned with a special chrome monogram pattern.
