The stores, the art, the back drops, the iconic Fendi corridor—Miami’s Design District is a must-shoot for Miami’s top fashion bloggers. We caught up with a few to find out why they hit the District when scouting spots to pose, as well as what’s catching their eyes these days in the area.

“There's always something new to see. The area is still developing so much. It definitely helps to keep things fresh and keep people coming back to the area to shoot. I always make sure I stop at Saint Laurent, though currently I have my eye on a little something at Dior.”

“The Design District offers a lot of interesting spots with unique architectural elements, plus I get to stop into Reformation and pick up something new. My favorite version of multitasking,” Martha says. “I’ve had my eye on Guirlande de Cartier for a couple months now, so much so that I’ve put it on all my wish lists, birthday lists, anniversary lists. Guess now it’s just a waiting game as to when I get it. (Hint, hint, hubby.)”

“There are a lot of different cool spots to shoot around and all of them are close by. Also, I love that after the shoots I can just go and have lunch, a coffee or visit my favorite stores,” Carolina says, “One of my favorite stores there is Gucci. I’m obsessed with the inside decoration of the store and, of course, because I love the brand. One item that I have my eyes on are the Gucci loafers.”

“It’s always inspiring. It is a great place in Miami to find fashion, art and nice architecture all in one,” Gabriela says. “Some of my favorite stores are DiorGucciGelareh MizrahiAlice & Olivia and Dolce & Gabbana. The one item I have my eye on from those favorite stores is Gelareh Mizrahi’s THANK YOU bag. It’s perfect to carry every day, any season with the right attitude.”

“I love shooting in the Design District because there are so many vibrant colors all around and it really depicts Miami. One store I always have to stop in and say hi is Isabel Marant. Also, there are a pair of Birkenstock-like sandals that have different shades of pink at Louis Vuitton I have been eyeing.”

“Every corner is so artsy and photographable. I try to find a spot that matches my outfit, which isn't hard at all since the storefronts and walls are so colorful,” Jasmine says. “I always tend to shoot in front of the Hermes or Dior store because of the cool architecture and great lighting. One store I always shop at is Louis Vuitton, I always stop by to see the latest pieces. The one item I have my eye on right now is the Dior Book tote. I am obsessed with it and need it for the summer.”

“The quickest way to know a woman is to go shopping with her. Wanna get to know me? Meet me at Design District,” Valeria says. “My go-to store is Balenciaga. I have an eye for a super cute guy who works there--my husband. But if I’m honest, I have my eyes on the Triple S sneakers.”

“It is no secret that MDD has mastered its journey in becoming Miami's luxury destination, and that is why I love shooting here. Every corner, shop, restaurant and gallery is in constant evolution, which keeps my backdrops opulent and fresh. Not only that, but I am always scoping out the best styles for my wardrobe. One store I always make sure to visit is Dior, where classic and modern go hand in hand. I seriously cannot keep my eyes off the Black Book Tote.”
