Miami’s urban style meets the Mediterranean atmosphere in the new Dolce&Gabbana Special Collection created in collaboration with DJ Khaled.
The palms, the flowers, and the bright colors of our cosmopolitan city, the sunny seashores of South Beach, and the historic charm of Downtown Miami. The distinctive features of the metropolis are mixed in a surprising way with the codes that have made the DNA of Dolce&Gabbana unique over time, giving life to an exclusive Collection with a contemporary flair, generated by the artistic genius of Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, and DJ Khaled.
Two creative concepts with a strong and distinctive character animate the Collection. The first concept, the depiction of a lion, a symbol of strength and pride that has always been dear to DJ Khaled – who also chose it for the cover of one of his most acclaimed albums – is framed by florals and fantasies of stripes and polka dots.
The second proposal brings to mind the murals and graffiti found in Wynwood, interwoven with the typical Mediterranean bougainvillea flowers and agave leaves; the latter recalling both the gardens of Florida and the landscapes of Southern Italy. The Special Collection, which includes Ready to Wear and Beachwear, available up to Italian size 60 and accessories is now available in the Miami Design District boutique, 148 NE 41st Street.
