The metallic trend comes around every so often, but this spring’s take is versatile and fun. Eye-catching metallics can be worked into your everyday wear or left for a super special occasion. Try a silver sheen, a golden glisten or a bold pop of color for those that wouldn’t dare to go unnoticed. Here are a few ways to make the metallic trend work for you.

Buttercup yellows, cotton-candy pinks, robin-egg blues—Easter egg-hued pastels are synonymous with springtime. The subtle and feminine palette is perfect for a girl’s brunch, family gathering or whatever warm weather activities take shape this season. Brush off your boots, because there’s a new ranger in town. Western-style boots are taking over the season and shifting the mood of the moment to country chic. Saloon style is leading the way with fringed leather, studded suede and vintage influence. Put the “wild” in “wild west” with the boots we’re obsessing over.    

While we are of the school of thought that leopard is always in style, we don’t always see it invade the runways as it did during the Spring 2019 shows.
