Visiting the museum of natural history packed with dinosaurs, planets and big animals is always fun, but getting to sleepover can be an adventure of a lifetime! Creative New Yorker author and composer Karen LeFrak wrote a fascinating story called “Sleepover at the Museum” and the Miami Symphony Orchestra audience will have the pleasure of being present at its world premiere performance in Miami on Sunday, February 24th. LeFrak is also the author of books “Jake the Philharmonic Dog” and “Jake the Ballet Dog”. An avid dog lover and breeder as well as a composer of music for ballets and instrumental works around the world, Karen and her husband Richard share time between New York and Miami.
“Sleepover at the Museum” is a MISO commission and the fifth world premiere by Karen LeFrak, it will be conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet and narrated by actress and fashion icon Athina Klioumi at The Moore Building - Elastika at The Miami Design District. A story full of mystery, excitement, fantasy and above all great music. A must-attend and unique event for all the family that you can’t miss.
