On High pairs two mesmerizing videos, Salty & Fresh (2014) and Living Monument (2017), poignantly reflecting on the current moment and the human creative act, in which we, whether as spectator, creator, participant, are all a part.

Living Monument (2017) is a one-minute, two-channel video presenting footage on one screen of the removal of a confederate monument in New Orleans. The second screen depicts a covert performance by Wilson in which she dances at dawn atop the remaining base of the statue before she was forced to leave the premises by law enforcement.

In Salty and Fresh, the artist becomes a giant goddess, tall and massive, rising from a mid-ocean sand bar on Virginia Key, her long, painted skirt lifting her like a turret. She wields a giant palette and an even bigger paintbrush, with which she paints three bodies, each carrying clay pots on their heads
