Maman Fine Art
Maman Fine Art will exhibit historical pieces by artists Martha Boto and Gregorio Vardánega, both members of the kinetic movement promoted by the legendary French gallery Denise René. We will show a selection of mobile sculptures, oil paintings, and light boxes, mainly from the 1960s from the artists' states.
Boto, an Argentinean artist, and her husband Vardánega, an Italian painter and sculptor, integrated the renowned avant-garde group Asociación Arte Concreto-Invención founded in 1945.
In 1959 they travel together to Paris where they began to experiment with the mechanisms of movement and with materials capable of absorbing and reflecting light. Both exhibited at the Denise René gallery and their works are part of important international public collections.
