Free family day at Miami Design District

The Miami Design District is hosting a Family Day every third Sunday of the month from 1-4 pm. Admission is free.

The line-up usually includes lessons, food, face painting, balloon animals and more. Festivities will be held in the Palm Court Event Space on the 3rd floor.

ICA Miami – 61 NE 41 St

Art Workshops – Sculpture Garden from 1-4 pm

Spider!: Use your imagination to shape and create a spooky spider inspired by artist Louise Bourgeois.

Monster Masks: Design and decorate a scary or silly Halloween mask to wear.

#CIVICKIDS Unusual Upcycled Planters: Breathe new life into recycled items and design your own planter to take home!

“Tuc Tuc Tuc” Storybook Art Workshop: Workshops at 1, 2, 3pm. Space is limited.

Author and Illustrator Nydia Buch presents her book about colorful forest creatures learning to live in harmony. Create an illustration using the same techniques used in the book.

Interactive Story Sessions
1st Floor Galleries, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30pm
Take part in a kid-friendly scary story.

Sensory-Friendly Space
2nd Floor, Ongoing from 1-4pm
Recommended for children of all ages with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders. This inclusive, quiet space has modifications to sound and light levels and appropriate hands-on art activities.

Sit back and enjoy a mix of short Halloween films on the big screen!
