Slim Aarons is a favorite of ours and we're looking forward to his new book, La Dolce Vita which focuses on Italy. He first worked in Italy as a combat photographer during WWII and later while working for Life magazine he lived in Rome. The book presents a collection of Aaron's most sumptuous photos from Italian aristocracy to Hollywood royalty.

It's the 10th Annual Smash and Grab at Locust Projects this weekend.  You can scope out the gallery online ahead of tomorrow night's event. Just be sure no to fall too deeply in love with any one piece as someone else might also have their heart set on your prize and get their hands on before your number is call. That's right, luck is a major component of Smash and Grab. You have to wait until your number is called. Think lottery ticket raffle meets art auction house aspect. All's fair in love and war and it'll definitely be a battle.
