A new shade of pink is popping into the Miami Design District this fall. Sofia, a Toronto-born food favorite is slated to make its Miami debut this November—bringing with it flamingo pink umbrellas and classic Italian fine dining.

INK Entertainment, the award-winning North American lifestyle hospitality group drove the project with a visionary perspective. Sofia leans into our favorite, nostalgic Italian dishes with an innovative and refined approach. Between the fresh ingredients and playful entertainment focus Sofia supersedes the boundaries of just getting a bite to eat.

Imagined by Executive Chef Daniel Roy, the menu sports a selection of antipasti including Prosciutto, Carpaccio, Grilled Octopus, Citrus Salads, Ricotta Stuffed Zucchini, and an assortment of Crudo. Fresh and homemade pasta dishes including Cacio e Pepe al Tartufo, Rigatoni Alla Vodka and Ravioli di Ricotta e Noci pepper the menu. ‘Pesce’ mains include Branzino, Aragosta (butter-poached lobster), and Gamberetti (wild king prawn) and ‘Carne’ mains feature Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, Wagyu Filets, Breaded Veal, Ribeye, Prime Striploin among more.

Completed by its cocktail menu, Sofia’s list of signature drinks nod to its Italian red thread (or should we say, pink thread). Take the cocktail names—Nights of Cabiria, Sorrentino, and Amarcord—all of which celebrate Italy’s stunning geography and notable pop culture. Sofia’s robust wine selection features many vintages and an array of authentic Italian wines rare to the local scene.

Yet, she doesn’t stop there. Following dinner and drinks, Sofia features late-night revelry and bespoke outings. Presenting DJs, live entertainment and musical performances, Sofia mingles traditional dining and sparkling shows—becoming the culmination of leisure and exploration in Palm Court.

Drenched in pink, Sofia was curated by the award-winning design collective Studio Munge. Inspired by the boldness of Sofia Toronto, Sofia Miami merges Contemporary art and Italian fare manifesting a chic and fashion-forward spot. Sofia’s lustrous vibrant fabrics, mirrored columns, and custom Italian-imported chandeliers are a glamorous vision to supplement your meal.

Sofia will be open Monday through Sunday for dinner service starting at 5PM, brunch and lunch will be kicking off in the coming weeks. Between her amethyst palette, couture design, nightly DJs and fresh Italian flavors, Sofia is one to savor and not one to miss. Meet her yourself at 140 NE 39th St.
