Alice + Olivia has a theatrical new space #atMDD — and its new flagship store is 100 percent pure drama. The brand’s first two-level boutique features a bold black and white palette with pops of gold accents; the perfect canvas for the whimsical and bright Alice + Olivia collection.
The space, designed by renowned interior designer Robert Couturier in collaboration with A+O Creative Director and CEO, Stacey Bendet, channels the 1930’s work of design legend Jean-Michel Frank. Known for his love of the color white, it’s no surprise that the hue features heavily in the new boutique. Graphic and bold, the brand’s vibrant personality shines through in every detail of the space, from the chic fitting rooms to the dramatic staircase up to the second floor.
We’re obsessed with the 30-foot tall colonnade of white plaster drapes and black and white chevron tile floor, the architectural focal point of the store. (Guests at the opening agreed, flocking to snap the perfect photo on the steps.)
The flagship is now officially “the” place to go for all things A+O, carrying the complete collection including ready-to-wear, gowns, shoes, accessories, and AO.LA by alice + olivia, the brand’s new denim line. Bold, flirty fashionistas who aren’t afraid of to bring the drama have a new haven to flock to for their pretty party frocks. (We are huge fans of the gowns!)
