The Fendi Caffè takes over OTL while the Peekaboo Bar debuts at the Fendi Boutique offering fully customizable mini peekaboo bags.
One of the most photogenic corners of the Miami Design District is getting a makeover courtesy of FENDI. Beginning May 20th, a sunny FENDI canopy, yellow walls, outdoor furniture and planters greet guests with a warm summer vibe on the corner of 40th Street and Paseo Ponti as they head to neighborhood fave OTL which is transformed into the FENDI Caffè.
The FENDI Caffè is inspired by the FENDI FF Vertigo Summer 2021 Capsule collection—created in partnership with visual artist Sarah Coleman—featuring a happy and colorful interpretation of the iconic FF logo pattern revisited through a Seventies’ psychedelic filter. A look inside reveals a trippy, technicolor space completely revamped into an FF Vertigo world where no detail is spared. Custom FENDI table settings set the scene for new menu items featuring a fusion of local and Italian favorites. Beverages like a signature FF logo cappuccino served in porcelain cups decorated with FENDI’s signature Pequin striped motif are part of the wall-to-wall experience. An evening Aperitivo menu where even the toasts and paninis include the FF logo are sure to garner a well-deserved spot on every influencers’ social media feed.

A stroll across the Paseo into the FENDI boutique completes the journey as the Miami debut of the Peekaboo Bar awaits. The client takes the design reins and can fully customize their own mini-Peekaboo bag with a myriad of options including new materials and metallic tones like denim, patent leather and exotic skins. Handles are available in a range of color combos and materials and optional add-ons including 8 different ‘Defender’ covers, and 8 embroidered satin Strap You straps.
The newly launched Summer 2021 Capsule collection will be available in the FENDI Boutique, including a new Baguette 1997 bag—a re-edition of the brand’s signature accessory, featuring slim sides and an adjustable handle, to wear under the arm. Dominated by yellow and light blue tones, the Summer 2021 Capsule spans from eye-catching bags and accessories to ready-to-wear for women and men.
