Let’s ring in fall together with a neighborhood-wide event of live music, dance, art, and shopping!

With plenty to choose from, you will discover various happenings throughout the District including live music, free guided art tours, and a design-driven fête in the 4141 building featuring the best of Miami’s home design.

Keep a lookout for shopping promotions - in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many of our fashion boutiques in the neighborhood will be donating proceeds from your purchases to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Visit Ximena Kavelekas, Mia Market to try their specialty cocktail, “Pink by Design”, C'sest Chou, Dr. Barbara Sturm, and more.

The Hongs

Paradise Plaza, 151 NE 41st Street

The Hongs take the dark and twisty of electro-pop with a touch of nu wave to create a dance fusion of sweet sugary pop - - rock disco.
Formed in 2008 by Jamaican-born musician Gordon Myers this multinational rock electronic group has become one of the most popular bands on the Miami music scene.

DANCE-THEATER & PERFORMANCE ART OTOÑO:  2:00 – 4:00PM

4141 NE 2nd Avenue – 4141 Building Atrium
Interdisciplinary Installation Artist & Choreographer Beláxis Buil presents OTOÑO; an assemblage of dance, theater, performance art, and fashion, enacted as an exploration of movement, nature, and ritual. The work aims to evoke sublime responses toward nature by playing with color compositions that allude to seasons and the transition of time, whilst choreographing physicality that draws on the idea of nature, the movement found in nature, the cycle of seasons and humanity.” Funded by Miami Dade County Cultural Affairs.

Bop Shop Brass

Palm Court, 140 NE 39th Street

The Bop Shop is the newest, freshest, and cleanest brass band, taking Miami by storm.

Inspired by the New Orleans brass band tradition, the Bop Shop also has an eye towards the music of today, sharing a collective vision for fusing the improvisatory energy of Louis Armstrong and Rebirth Brass Band, with the infectious grooves of artists such as Outkast and Herbie Hancock.

Uncle Scotchy - Paradise Plaza, 151 NE 41st Street

Uncle Scotchy (AKA Eric Garcia) is a modern day bluesman - a musician and song writer who fronts a four-piece progressive Blues band called Juke. Scotchy will be playing as a one-man-band playing the guitar, kick drum, snare, crash, bell, harmonica, and vocals. His songs are mostly stories about hardship, loss, and pain he has endured throughout his life.
