As Fashion Month comes to a close, we’re eagerly taking notes on what trends we want to try and which pieces will be filling our closets come fall.

Fall 2018’s runways were an homage to the 80s and 90s with trends like skirt suits, logo bags, and ruching back en vogue for the first time in a long time. So break out your leopard print and dust off your Dior Saddlebag… these are our five favorite trends from the Fall 2018 runways.

Versace // Dior // Prada

Clueless Vibes
Channel your inner Cher Horowitz in a kicky plaid skirt suit. Clueless’ most iconic fashion look was splashed all over runways including at Prada, Max Mara, Versace and Dior. Bold colored plaids dominated the runways, but plaid skirt suits were the star of the show.

Givenchy  //  Max Mara // Tom Ford

Bold Animal Prints
Bold animal prints are having a major comeback, with appearances on the runways at Tom Ford, Givenchy, Marni, and Max Mara. (We’d be remiss to gab 90s animal prints without acknowledging the most stylish Nanny of all time, Fran Fine.) Tom Ford sent down oversized leopard prints in a bright wash of colors like red, yellow and lavender. Max Mara mixed leopard prints head-to-toe in a variety of sizes and Givenchy offered up luxe zebra print furs and leopard overcoats.

Prada // Marni // Louis Vuitton

Statement Coats
Say bye-bye to boring outerwear, because the statement coats of Fall 2018 are all major conversation pieces. Jonathan Anderson took coats very seriously, showing a whopping 15 coats on the Loewe runway. Brands including Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dior, Margiela, and Prada focused on outerwear as a statement piece. Oversized silhouettes, dramatic furs, wide lapels, and wild prints dominated the runways. Coats? More like art pieces.

Gucci // Fendi // Dior

Logo Bags
The logo bags of the early aughts are back in full force, spotted on runways at Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, and Dior. The iconic Dior Saddle bag favored by the likes of Paris Hilton circa 2003 is now the It Bag of 2018. That’s hot.
