Fashion never rests. While we’re just beginning to break out our booties and fall sweaters, it’s never too early to start looking to spring. As a whirlwind fashion month winds down, we’re giving you a sneak peek at the Spring 2018 runways and what trends you can expect to see in your closet come next year.

For the first time ever, ba&sh’s cool, effortless collection of ready-to-wear and accessories is available to US shoppers, only in the Miami Design District at the brand’s first stateside brick-and-mortar location. “When our shareholders expressed an interest in opening a ba&sh boutique in The Miami Design District, we decided to pursue it. We knew it would reflect our global positioning among a new generation of timeless, authentic, affordable luxury brands, while putting us door-to-door with others in the category, like Isabel Marant and Alice & Olivia,” said Pierre-Arnaud Grenade, ba&sh’s Global CEO.

When creative minds come together, storytelling is an art. Highlighting that idea, Creative Minds Talks and Miami Design District’s innovative series, The Art of Storytelling brings powerhouses of fashion, art, architecture, film, music, and literature together in a series of talks designed to inspire, enlighten and entertain. Addressing issues like inspiration, motivation and the future of these creative fields, panelists come together in intimate and frank discussion.  The latest edition of The Art of Storytelling will bring world renowned fashion designer Naeem Khan together with Modern Luxury’s VP of Creative/Fashion Director James Aguiar for a deep delve into the worlds of fashion, design, and some insights into the relocation of House of Khan to Miami.

While our friends up north are no doubting starting to swap their summer sandals for fall booties, we have a few ideas on how to make summer-to-fall footwear transition a tad more bearable here in the last scorching days of summer.

Even though our school days are behind us, this fall the thrill of scoring a new backpack is alive and well. Grown up backpacks are one of the season’s hottest trends, and we are 100 percent onboard.
