Curious to know all the intricate details behind the making of your Louis Vuitton Speedy bag? Do inquiring minds desire the particulars concerning the creation of a Christian Dior gown? Well, it appears the fashion Gods have answered your couture-laden cries. And they’re spilling the beans.

How so? The LVMH Group is opening its workshops for two days of public visits on June 15 and 16. Yes, you heard that correctly. The world’s finest luxury brands — such as Berluti, Belvedere, Bulgari, Christian Dior, Fendi, Hublot, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Pucci and Thomas Pink — will share over 40 of their European workshops with the public for the second Les Journées Particulières event. The gist of Les Journées Particulières? To celebrate generations of expert craftsmanship and design — and a bird’s eye view of the Group’s 100,000 talented artisans.

Traversing France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Poland — watchmakers, couturières, perfume flacon sealers, shoemakers, cellar masters, jewelers, trunk makers, riddlers, head seamstresses, chefs and many others will reveal some of the secrets of their craft.

In other words, find out where designer dreams are made.

How can you take part in Les Journées Particulières? Reservations are now open through May 31. To book tours (averaging an hour long), visit www.lesjourneesparticulieres.com.
